We live in a world that teaches us how to explain, analyse and achieve.
But rarely we are taught how to pause and feel. And somewhere along the way, without even realising it, we stop listening to ourselves.
This project was born from that need.
Through a dialogue between painting and writing, I create a space to pause, reconnect with ourselves, and look at our own stories with greater kindness.
I am not here to convince. I am here to accompany.
Hello, I’m Susanna Cabos
For much of my life, two seemingly unrelated worlds coexisted within me.
On one side, a professional career rooted in science, quality and management. On the other, a deep need for expression that found its language in painting.
I have been painting for more than fifteen years, and for a long time I believed I had to choose between these two sides of myself.
When I turned fifty, I felt the need to look back at my journey from a wider perspective. I discovered that all the works I had created were, in fact, telling a story. Writing then emerged as a way to enter into dialogue with each of them.
Today, I no longer feel I have to choose between reason and creativity, between analysis and intuition.
My work is born precisely from bringing these worlds together, and from the belief that the different facets of who we are do not compete with one another — they enrich one another.

For years, I painted a story without knowing I was writing it
For more than fifteen years, I painted emotions, questions and transformations that I did not yet know how to put into words.
Over time, I discovered that each work represented a stage of my life and that, together, they were telling a single story.
Entre Trazos brings that journey together. A dialogue between painting and writing that explores the defining stages in a woman’s transformation and invites us to look at our own stories from a new perspective.
